Alex is a Senior, majoring in History and minoring in Chemistry, who will be attending medical school following his graduation in 2024. He enjoys playing pick-up basketball, going on hikes with his wife, and staying up to date on professional sports.
Alex is currently researching lipid metabolism and regional trends in the Mass Spectrometer Imaging project. He has done this mainly through the lab-made Desorption Electrospray Ionization (DESI) source. He is also began to work on the Microsampling project, studying regional proteomic trends in relation to Alzheimer’s Disease risk factors.
