Esteban is from Paraguay. He graduated from BYU with a B.S. in Biochemistry, and is currently a PhD student at BYU. He enjoys being outside, playing volleyball, hiking, camping, playing piano, and discovering new music. He also enjoys learning about cultures and languages.
Esteban is currently doing lipidomics research, specifically interested in lipid metabolism in different areas of the brain. His goal is to continue in the medical research field after finishing this degree, either in industry or academia.
