Kim Wagstaff is in her junior year studying biochemistry at BYU. She joined the Price lab in June 2019 because she was interested in researching aging and Alzheimer’s disease where she is currently studying how calorie restricting and diet affect aging in the liver. Kim is also researching the antimicrobial peptide TclE and the machinery to modify it which could lead to novel engineered antibiotics. She plans on graduating in 2022 and going on to graduate school to pursue a PhD in biochemistry. She enjoys running, playing piano, and swimming.
