Stella Park is in her senior year studying Neuroscience at BYU. She enjoys playing the violin and painting. However, her greatest interest is in science, especially anatomy. This is from watching her sister with Down Syndrome who uses other senses to develop a unique way of communication and connection with others. To expand her knowledge and understanding, she is currently researching at the Price Lab to learn about the proteomics of the human body. The research involves studying protein stability to apply to the proteomics in aging and age-related diseases. After graduation, she plans to attend medical school and pursue an MD degree.
