David Hansen

David Hansen, Ph.D.
Dr. Hansen graduated from BYU in 2000 with a B.S. in Molecular Biology. He obtained his Ph.D. in Cancer Biology from Stanford University, and he received postdoctoral training in neural stem cell biology and human brain development at UC San Francisco. Prior to joining BYU, Dr. Hansen worked for nine years in South San Francisco at Genentech, Inc., where he led early stage research and drug development efforts to combat neurodegenerative diseases by modulating immune signaling pathways.
