Nathaniel Axtell started working for the Kelly lab as an intern Fall of 2018. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from BYU-Idaho in 2019. He returned to the Kelly lab in the fall of 2019 to begin working on a PhD in Analytical Chemistry. He is working to develop a low-volume automated Immuno-MRM workflow for analysis of trace biomarkers. He hopes that one day his work will find its way into clinical assays for diagnostics. Outside of the lab, he enjoys reading, playing board games, and dancing with his wife.
