Agilent 8900 ICP-MS/MS
The Agilent 8900 ICP-MS Triple Quadrupole is an advanced inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer designed for ultra-trace elemental and isotopic analysis. Its unique MS/MS configuration uses two quadrupoles with a collision/reaction cell to effectively remove spectral interferences. This enables exceptional sensitivity, accuracy, and reproducibility across a wide range of elements. The system is well suited for complex sample matrices that challenge conventional single-quadrupole ICP-MS instruments.
The cost for using this instrument is $35/hour for internal BYU users and $70/hour for external users.
